Sad News:

Harold “Bud” Shepherd, 85, who was a very active long time member passed away on December 18, 2014. His Wake was held on Monday, December 22, and his Funeral was conducted on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Olathe, Kansas. He was a great guy who was always willing to help other members with their vehicles and he will be greatly missed on club tours, Spring Flings and as an attendee at National Meets. So long “Bud”, hopefully we’ll all catch up with you down the Big FORD V-8 Highway in the Sky.

Happy News:

On Saturday afternoon, December 20th, 2014, at 2:00 pm, David Thatcher and Linda Waugh were married at the East Independence Community of Christ Church in a beautiful ceremony. The wedding was attended by many members of the KCRG to wish them the best of happiness in the future.Although it was overheard that a couple of our members were in attendance because there was some free cake, punch, and nuts [edible not steel] but no steel auto body parts were observed.

“And Then…”

Vern and Bobby Ann Bonar celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary at a breakfast brunch on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014. The KCRG would like to wish them both continued health and happiness in the years to come.

Some Thoughts to Ponder:

Charlie: If Henry Ford were still alive, what would he be famous for now?

Frank: I don’t know.

Charlie: His age.

Bobby: What is a 10-letter word that starts with gas?

Micky: I don’t know.

Bobby: Automobile.

The Thinker Contemplates: “Why is ‘abbreviation’ such a long word?”

The Thinker Contemplates: “Is there another word for ‘synonym’?”

Harry: “Why do they put bells on cows?”

Freddie: “I haven’t a clue.”

Harry: “Because their horns don’t work.”

The Thinker Contemplates: “If you break thespeed limit, can you fix it?”

( Yes, they are bad but I had to fill the space on the page )
