Dear West Charlotte Family and Supporters,

This year West Charlotte has been invited to participate in an exciting philanthropic program called the CMS Senior Buildup. This project will result in three new Habitat homes built for local families in need. This community effort will be a rewarding way for our students to volunteer their time and talent to make a difference in their community.

This endeavor is being led by some of West Charlotte’s finest scholars with the hope that they will engage their peers in participating. This opportunity empowers our students and allows them to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s work by teaching them new skills in a non-competitive, inclusive environment of cooperation, partnership, and fun. The students are excited to learn, to lead, and to serve.

All five CMS school zones (Northeast Zone and West Charlotte/ Southeast Zone/ Central and East zones)have been asked to raise a total of $225,000 collectivelywith $75,000 as the individual cost of house. As a team we have set our sights on raising $11,500. We know it’s a big goal, but we believe that we can accomplish it with hard work and your support. Your gift will directly impact another local, hard-working family. Every contribution is tax deductible, but more importantly every dollar helps bring a family closer to their dream of owning a home!

Please join West Charlotte High School’s efforts and make a donation online at select “Project Lift Zone” and then “West Charlotte High School”.

Alternatively, you can submit a cashier check or money order made out to Habitat Charlotte with West Charlotte Senior Build Up in the memo portion and either mail to the following addresses:
