After careful consideration of our organization’s mission and a comprehensive analysis, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts has decided to close its Milford Health Center and increase hours at our other health centers later this year. Our last day providing health services at our location at 208 Main Street Suite 101 in Milford will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
Planned Parenthood has been in Massachusetts for nearly 100 years, and we're not going anywhere. The decision to close our Milford health center and reallocate resources to our other health centers was driven by our mission to provide high-quality accessible care, and the fact that the needs of the Milford community have changed since we first opened. Since our founding, PPLM has always been here for women and families in Massachusetts and we will continue to be here to serve our patients. This shift in resources will ensure that we can continue to meet the diverse needs of women, men, and young people with high-quality compassionate health care and education programs.
If you are interested in continuing to receive services from Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, you will be able to access the same quality care at one of our other health centers. We have offices in Central Massachusetts in Marlborough, Fitchburg, and Worcester. All PPLM health centers share an electronic health records system, so you can be assured that the transition to a different health center will be seamless and easy.
