Thank you for choosing us as your lawn service provider. We look forward to serving you and are here to help you in any way possible. Below you will find some basic policies that we use to ensure that your service is delivered as smoothly as possible and that your lawn is maintained to your complete satisfaction. Please read, sign and return to us via mail or fax to get your service started. Our address and fax number are shown above.
Lawn Service Agreement
1)Lawns must be ready to mow when our crew arrives on your scheduled mow day. We are not responsible for picking up trash, water hoses, dog toys or droppings, children’s toys, etc prior to mowing. Texas Tree & Landscape will not be held liable for damage to items left in the yard.
2)If you believe that your lawn was not mowed on your scheduled mow day or the work was not done to your satisfaction, Texas Tree & Landscape must be notified within 24 hours. If no notice is given within this timeframe, it is assumed that all work done was completed satisfactorily. If notice is given, we will return to your residence within 48 hours to correct any problems identified by the customer.
3)If your gates are locked on your scheduled mow day and we cannot access the backyard, you will still be charged your normal rate for service that day. If we have come back again to mow the backyard, there will be an additional trip charge for this.
4)Texas Tree & Landscape will not be responsible for damage caused by string trimmers to wood fences. It is normal and necessary for string trimmers to come into contact with fences while trimming grass growing against them. This may cause, over time, some marking, scratches, etc. along the bottom 4”-6” of the fence, depending on the height of grass being trimmed.
5)Texas Tree & Landscape will take every reasonable precaution to prevent grass clippings and shrub trimmings from being blown into swimming pools. However, we cannot guarantee that no clippings will enter the pool due to tall grass being mowed, windy conditions, etc. Texas Tree & Landscape will not be liable for damages or pool cleaning charges due to grass clippings or other lawn debris falling or being blown into swimming pools.
6)You may request a skip for a particular service week if your yard does not need mowing or service may be cancelled at any time without penalty, provided that you have called during business hours (8am – 5pm) at least one day prior to your scheduled mow day. Customers who call on their mow day to request a skip or to cancel service will be charged for that day’s service since route sheets are printed the day before and our crews leave early in the morning.
7)Customer’s credit cards will be charged the first week of each month for the previous month’s service. All charges are due by the 20th day of each month. Any and all unpaid or partially paid invoices as of the 25th day of the month that they are due will be assessed a $10 late fee.
8)Customer checks returned to Texas Tree & Landscape due to insufficient funds will be charged a $25 returned check fee.
