Dear Supporter,

Random Acts is a 501(c)3 non-profit registered in the United States working internationally to fund and support random acts of kindness within local communities. For three years, Random Acts has run an endurance event, Endure4Kindness (E4K), with hundreds of people from all around the world coming together to take part.

Participants in E4K are invited to pick an activity and invite their friends, family, and members of the local community to pledge money. This year, E4K will take place over the weekend of April 1-2. Participants are invited to choose one continuous 24-hour period over that weekend for their event. This year, I will also be taking part and will be [details of activity].

Random acts of kindness are suggested and performed by supporters of Random Acts, and sometimes they need financial help. The money pledged to the E4K participants, from people such as you, will be used to fund acts of kindness all over the world. Acts that have been funded in the past include:

·  Buying a new sewing machine for a seamstress who lost her home and business to a fire, so she could continue to support her three grandchildren.

·  Purchasing books for a local elementary school who couldn’t afford to buy their own.

·  Providing Christmas cards and gift cards for gas/food to people working service jobs on Christmas day, such as waitresses, retail clerks, and snowplow operators.

·  Materials and food for our supporters to make and distribute hats, care packages, and meals for the homeless.

If E4K is something you think you might be interested in supporting, I have a dedicated page to collect pledges set up on Crowdrise at: [insert link]. Full details of the event can be found on the Random Acts website: http://www.randomacts.org/events/endure4kindness/.

Yours Sincerely,
