Dear Stakeholder: Accredited Training Provider, Skills Development Facilitator
INFORMATION SHARING SESSION
You are cordially invited to attend a TWO-DAY information sharing session. The first session aims to critically discuss issues pertaining to delivery of training programmes such as leanerships, placement of learners, approach to the allocation of funds and the constraints, deliberate on the new quality assurance landscape Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and Organising Framework for Occupations (OFO) and the review and feedback on training provider forums. Various State departments will also be invited to do presentations regarding possible funding models and initiatives within their respective plans.
Please note that on the afternoon of the second day, the Skills Planning Department of AgriSETA will discuss with Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs) issues such as scarce and critical skills, the impact of the OFO on the completion of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR) as well as a general training session on completing the WSP and ATR. Providers who are also registered as SDFs are therefore advised to remain for this informative session and will be joined by other registered SDFs in the sector.
Due to the nature of discussions, it will be in the best interest of your company to delegate the most senior person(s) to attend the sessions.
Logistics
Please note the following important information:
- Booking forms must be faxed to the number below at least by the 23 February 2009
- The AgriSETA will pay for the conference venues, refreshments and lunch.
- The AgriSETA WILL NOT pay any travel or accommodation expenses. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION IS FOR YOUR OWN ACCOUNT.

- You are advised to choose the closest venue to you to minimize the travel expenses on your part.
