Dear St. Vincent’s College Students,

The Faculty and Staff here at St. Vincent’s College are all looking forward to New Student Orientation on August 22nd and 23rd. Our Orientation program is unique from other institutions in that, our College welcomes new students with a comprehensive orientation program that allows students to meet directly with professors they will be working with as well as having current St. Vincent’s College students in nursing and radiography meet with the students who are enrolling in NUR and RAD 101 to discuss program requirements and other general College questions.

The following information is very important and will help assist you in preparation for your Orientation session:

*Orientation is required to attend for all students.

*Park in the Hospital Visitors Garage. Bring your ticket to Orientation for validation.

*Register for Orientation at http://www.stvincentscollege.edu/admissions/accepted-students/new-student-orientation/

Current St. Vincent’s College students enrolling in NUR 101:

At the focused NUR 101 session, students will meet with Associate Dean for Nursing Maryanne Davidson and Professor Debra Giesen. In this session, you will meet additional nursing faculty, receive an overview on academic policies, procedures and student resources, discuss dress code and uniforms, learn about the Skills Lab and Pocket Nurse and meet with current nursing students.

St. Vincent’s College anticipates 90 students will enroll in NUR 101 for the fall term. Therefore, to provide the high quality one-on-one attention we are noted for, the Nursing program has preassigned students to a NUR 101 Orientation session.
