Dear Squad Players , Parents and Coaches

This News Letter will be the last from my desk as Chairperson of WP Junior Tennis . As most of you already know – I have “retired “ and will not be involved with Junior Matters in future . Your new Chaiman is RIAD DAVIDS and with the help of the rest of the Junior Committee he is already very active and busy with all that concerns Junior Tennis in our province . ( see our website : for an updated list of the members of the junior committee )

  1. Squads : Squads will continue as usual and hopefully those players that “rested ‘during the 2nd and 3rd terms will be back in the 4th term . Please note that because of the Open Interpro , SA Open and ITF Futures tournament in October happening at Rondebosch some of the squads will move to other venues for that period – the coaches and office will let you know where and when !!
  2. Squad Fees : There are quite a few squad fees outstanding ! I am sure you would know if your squad fees are not fully paid and we trust that you will contact the office and make arrangements . Please pay your squad within the first two weeks of a term – do not wait for an account – sometimes the office is very busy and invoices go out very late

Also remember that if you want to pull out of squad for some or other very good reason then you should do so before the end of the previous term – IN WRITING !! You will be responsible for squad fees if you do not comply with this rule !!

Well that’s all folks !! What is left is to thank each and every person that has ever crossed my tennis path for the friendship , the loyalty and the support that I experienced and enjoyed from you . I will always remember it and treasure it ! I wish you all the very very best life can offer you !
