Dear South Hills Country Club Members,
What a fantastic month it has been for me as I continue to settle into my new role as General Manager of South Hills Country Club. It has been my great pleasure to meet and speak with many SHCC Members over the past few weeks at successful events like the “Prospective Member Open House” , the “Children’s Easter Breakfast” and the “Easter Brunch and Dinner Buffets”. It’s obvious to me, even with my limited exposure to the Club, that the Members and Staff of South Hills Country Club have a true passion, not only for the Club, but for each other. Everyone whom I have interacted with is truly committed to supporting and improving this great organization. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as your General Manager and I look forward to a great future at South Hills Country Club.
There are many Club projects currently underway as the staff prepares for what looks to be an early golf season. Improvements to the Women’s Locker Room are nearly complete and the Men’s Locker Room shower area is currently under repair. Repairs to the Pool are also nearly complete and Plans are being finalized to replace the Clubhouse Roof in the next few weeks. Overall, the Club is gearing up for what is sure to be a great 2016 season.
I have been reviewing the results of the recent Member Survey and although there is a huge amount of information to digest, there are items that the Staff and I are attempting to address as the 2016 season begins. Chef John has been working on new spring lunch and dinner menus and a new menu “look”. Additional and healthier food items are being planned for the #10 Snack Stand and don’t be surprised if the food service operation at the Pool Facility is noticeably different (in a good way) in the summer of 2016. In short, we heard your comments and we are doing our best to make a difference in the coming season.
Please remember that we are entering the “Prime Membership Recruiting Months “ at South Hills Country Club so please help Membership Director Jackie Clark and continue to refer friends, family or business associates that may be interested in the Private Club Experience. In addition, I would like to remind the Membership that South Hills Country Club is a great place to host a family wedding, shower or milestone event. We would love to plan the perfect private event for you so please help “spread the word” in 2016 and beyond.
