May 2018

Dear Soccer Parents, Players and Coaches:

Thank you very much for participating in the 2018MapleBrook Soccer Invitational. We are excited for another weekend of great soccer! Many of you come back year after year, and it is nice to see you again.

The preliminary schedule has been posted, and is expected to be finalized by May 15th. We will send out another email once the schedule is final.

We have attached some information that may be helpful over the course of the weekend. If at any time you need help, please go to the Information tent at any site and a site coordinator, or volunteer in a green t-shirt, will be happy to assist you.

Plan to arrive early and allow enough time before your games, as all field locations will be congested. We will have golf carts available to help guests with walking needs get to their player’s field. Please let a parking attendant know if you need this service.

Area hospitals and urgent care facilities are included on the Tournament maps that are posted online and sent to team representatives prior to the tournament. If an injury does occur, please send someone to the information tent and they can provide emergency information. Tent locations are included on the site maps. Every player participates at his/her own risk. Each team is responsible for medical supplies and for treatment of injuries; please include ace bandages and ice packs in team First Aid kits. Tournament volunteers, such as Field and Site Coordinators have access to cell phones for emergencies.

While we love animals, we ask that you would kindly leave your animals at home. Animals are strictly forbidden in the high school stadiums.

We look forward to a great weekend of good, friendly and competitive soccer. We hope you take the time to look over the information enclosed and find it helpful in making the MapleBrook Invitational a pleasant soccer experience for you and your player. Please do not hesitate to ask one of our volunteers if you have a question or need assistance.

Have a great tournament and we hope to see you back next year!

Respectfully,

The MapleBrook Tournament Committee
