NEW C.K.C. Ruling – Non CKC members who are Canadian, running a wholly-owned dog, cannot win a placement unless they pay a non-member fee to the CKC. Otherwise, Awards and Titles will be cancelled. CKC fee will be paid directly to the CKC.

All entries must be received by the Draw party, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the home of Jennifer Ritchie and Tony Fagundes. Cheques should be dated no later than September 7th, and made payable to the York Retriever Field Trial Club in Canadian funds. U.S. currency will be accepted at par.

Confirmation of draw numbers may be posted on Canadian National Retriever website. Running lists will be forwarded to the National Website and the York Website as finalized.

LISTING FEE: The listing fee of $9.61 per dog must be submitted for any dog not having an individual registration number.

Game Birds: Ducks will be used in all stakes

Prizes: Standard CKC Rosettes will be awarded to all dogs who place and to all C.M’s. Presentations will be made at the completion of each stake.

ALL SCRATCHES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE FIELD TRAIL SECRETARY 24 HOURS BEFORE THE TRIAL. Entry fees will be refunded only for bitches in season or for injured dogs, upon receipt of a veterinarian’s certificate. Once the catalogue has been printed, a $10.00 surcharge will apply.

NOTICE TO TRIALERS:

Excerpt from CKC Rules and Regulations it shall be the duty and obligation of the event giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer or any participant at a hunt test held under these regulations, is not subjected to indignities of any kind. The Hunt Test Committee Chair shall promptly report to the Canadian Kennel Club any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action ait deems fit on rceipt of a report indicating this has occurred.

Please check in with the Marshal upon arrival at your stake. It is the responsibility of the handler to inform the Marshal if they have dogs running in other stakes, and the Marshall has the authority to move dogs for the efficiency of the test.

Shotguns may or may not be used. However, handlers may be required to handle a gun or replica during the test. Gun Safety is considered as part of the test.

All handles MUST wear dark or camouflage clothing.

Handlers re expected to be familiar with the CKC Rules and Regulations for Hunt Tests.

The YORK Retriever is a member in good standing of the Canadian National Master Club.

Hwy 400 North to Hwy 93 West through Hillsdale, Orr Lake and then Waverly.

Stay on Hwy 93 to Ebenezer Side Road

Turn Right onto Ebenezer Side Road to the Stop Sign (at Wood Road)

Left turn onto Wood Road to Ebenezer Farm # 1994 on left side.

Watch for Field Trial Signs from Hwy 93

PLEASE TREAT ALL THE FIELD TRIAL GROUNDS WITH RESPECT, CLEANING UP ALL LITTER AND STAYING WITHIN THE SPECIFIED GALLERY AREA AS DIRECTED BY THE MARSHALLS.

NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED AT TEST SITES OR PAST THE GATE TO THE GROUNDS.

Lunches will be available both Saturday and Sunday for a nominal fee.

There will be no Tailgate.
