District 7710 will observe FOUR-WAY TEST WEEK during the fourth full week of October in each year. This is an outstanding opportunity to highlight this famous guide for living in your club, your school, your church, and your community. The Four-Way Test Committee of District 7710 needs your personal leadership and the assistance of your Club to promote this great standard for better living, to complete our district-wide effort, and to achieve the success typical of District 7710 work.

Below is a Timetable and enclosed as separate files are the materials for Four-Way Test Week and the Essay Contest. Please share them with the members of the Four-Way Test Committee of your Club and with your Club members.Please feel free to personalize these documents to suit your individual clubs.

  1. Select a Four-Way Test Committee and appoint a chair person.

  1. Use the Timetable to begin your planning with the Committee and with your Board.
  2. Consider having a member of your club present a program on the Four-Way Test during the Four-Way Test Week. The PowerPoint presentation that we provide makes it very easy.
  3. Remember the Four-Way Test Essay Contest is a TWO-PHASE CONTEST.
    In the FIRST PHASE, the local Club sponsors the contest in grades 7 and 8 of the local schools, selects first, second and third place winners, devotes a program to recognition of the winners, provides monetary awards for the winners, and submits the essay of the first place winner to the Four-Way Test Committee of District 7710.

In the SECOND PHASE, the District Committee selects first, second and third place winners for the District, provides monetary awards for the district winners, and provides for appropriate recognition and publicity.
