Dear RedwoodCity Rotarians:
This is President-Elect Paul Piccione addressing you, and appealing to you, as the burdens of office approach. It is time to form a Board and appoint officers and I want each of you to have the opportunity to put your name in for the office and committee of your choice. I hope to have the positions filled by March 1st, so act now and do not delay, this offer is only good while supplies last.
In most organizations 20% of the members perform 80% of the work. And there can be the valid explanation from the remaining members that "No one asked me!" Well, I am asking, so that reason is out the window. We are blessed with members who have been very active in Rotary, but let’s not let them take all the limelight and glory. I sense that they are ready to share, and welcome new members to guide in the ways of Rotary.
Listed below are the officer and committee positions, a brief description of preferred skills, and the names of the current title–holders. I want all of the current officers back, but I know that may not be possible. The other officers would welcome some fresh talent to mentor and have others take over the reins some day.

Now I know that some of the current officers are going to break my heart and take a leave or something. So I am hoping that a few new faces will fill in the ranks. Please contact me, your Rotary sponsor, or any of the named officers above, to learn more about the various positions and how you can participate. We look forward to having you aboard.
Desperately yours,
Paul R. Piccione
