Dear Pastors and Friends:
We had a great visit with the Rutledge Family who came on their survey trip recently. I sincerely believe that God has called this family to Thailand to help us further the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ here in the north. Please pray for this family as they start their deputation, that they may raise their needed support and get here to attend language school.
The arthritis in Phyllis’s hip seems to be getting worse, we will be coming home in March to try and get something done. It has gotten to the point that she is having great difficulty in just walking, and it is affecting her sleep as well.
February 2, I will turn 65 I am praying that God will allow me at least another five years here in Thailand. Other than two heart attacks, on stint, diabetes, life long battle with kidney stones, and try-focals I’m in pretty good shape.
We have our first graduate coming up February 26, when we got Boon Chu he was studying to become a monk. He has since become an honor student in school and is going on to college in Chiang Mai. God has turned this young man’s life around and he has been a great testimony.
We just replaced 8 mattresses, and 10 sheet sets, and 12 pillows for our kids. Some of these have been slept on for 5 years and were just worn out. If you would like to help us recoup some of this expense by purchasing a mattress they are $78.00 ea. Sheet sets $9.37, and pillows $4.68
We continue to see souls saved and added to the Kingdom of God here in Thailand. Pray for us as we labor for the Lord on your behalf. And thank you for your faithful support that makes it all possible.
