Music on the Mountain

July 5-10

Dear Music Camper and Family:

Thank you for signing up for Music on the Mountain 2015! Whether you are a first-time Music Camper or returning from last year, we look forward to a great week of music-making!

I. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:

Registration for Camp begins Sunday, July 5 at 3:30 PM. Please try to arrive no later than 5:00, as our first meal together is supper at 5:30. Many of you will have a long drive; if you will be arriving late, please call the Sacramento office at 800-667-3414.

Music Camp ends with a concert for family and friends at after lunch on Friday at Sacramento Camp and Conference Center. Immediately after the concert, all campers are dismissed.

II. SPECIAL MUSIC CAMP INFORMATION:

As soon as you get this letter, please e-mail me at or call me at 505-321-3506 and answer the following questions:

1) What is something special about yourself that you want to share with us?

3) Are you bringing an instrument? If so, what instrument and how long have you been playing it? (If you aren’t bringing one, or are just learning to play it, that’s okay! There will be lots of opportunities to sing, play handbells, do some acting, dance, etc.)

Our concert “uniform” will be the Sacramento T-shirt (which will be provided for you) and blue denim jeans, shorts, or skirt, which you are responsible to bring.

You will have an opportunity to share your musical skills at the camper recital and talent show on Wednesday evening. Please be sure to bring along any solo or ensemble music you may need. You may also want to think of some fun skits to share.

Our staff is outstanding, the food is amazing, and best of all, you’re coming! See you at camp!

Rev. Blaine Wimberly – Camp Dean

From Sacramento Staff:

We have added a new form of letter mailing to your camper this year. You can go to our web-site www.sacramentoassembly.org, click on the “Connect” button on the left side, then to “Camper Connect” at the bottom. A list of camps will appear on your screen click on the correct camp, you can then e-mail your camper a letter. Please put your camper’s name in the subject line. We will print these letters off daily and give to the camp dean to pass out to the campers.
