This offer is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all pre-employment screening requirements. These include the following:

(1) Completion of the I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification form and provision of required documentation within three working days of the start date of your assignment. This documentation is required by the Federal Immigration Reform and Control Act to verify employment eligibility to work in the United States and will be handled upon your arrival.

(2) A background check as required by institutional policy for newly appointed staff. For this purpose, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing the Background Check Administration system to provide the necessary information for conducting the background check.

You are considered a probationary employee during the first 180 calendar days of continuous service from the date of initial employment. [THIS CLAUSE FOR CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES ONLY]We will explain these and other administrative details to you during your initial orientation.

All aspects of UT policy and administrative details regarding your position will be given to you during your initial orientation. The University offers new employee orientation every Monday where you will receive information about UT history and working on campus, insurance benefits, parking, required university training and university policy, as well as other additional employee benefits. We recommend you attend the orientation. Hanna Kim, Human Resources Manager, will assist you in registration. Once your orientation date has been set up, you will receive further notifications and instructions.
