Dear Mrs. Jones,
Directions: Write a personal letter introducing yourself to me. Here are some “possible” ideas for you to include in your letter; you may, of course, add any other information you would like me to know about you.
The final draft must be typed and turned in no later than September 4th.
The letter should be Times New Roman or Arial, size 12, double spaced.
Please make sure it is around 1 page in length with lots of great details!
This assignment is worth 15 points. Points will be deducted for late work.
Here are some ideas of what to write about:
-Your name, age, and birthday
-Your family members: names and ages
-Your elementary school; your favorite teacher so far – and why?
-6th grade: your teacher; what you liked/ did not like about 6th grade
-New to the area/school?
-What you expect to do this yearand/or when you grow up?
-What did you do this summer?
-What do you like to do in your spare time; activities, sport
-Describe your best friend(s)
-What’s your special skill or talent? What are you most proud of?
-When you’re not at home, where do you like to hang out?
-Do you have a computer at home? What programs do you know how to use – for fun, for school?
-If you could spend the day with a celebrity…who would it be? What would you do?
-If I gave you $100, how would you spend it?
