Dear Mr. / Ms. <patient last name>,
These days, not enough healthcare practices acknowledge and appreciate their patients. You may have even been to a doctor who was either rude, made you waste half a day in his or her waiting room, or didn’t listen to what you had to say… and then rushed you out the door.
We know healthcare reform plays a big role in how people are treated by their medical providers, but that’s NO excuse and it’s very upsetting to us when we hear those kinds of stories
So, I’m personally writing you to say…
“Thank You For Choosing Us As Your Healthcare Provider
And Thank You For Being Our Patient!”
I want to also assure you that you’ve made a good decision. You will always get the personal care you need. You will NEVER be treated like “just another patient” and you will NOT be herded in and out of our office like cattle.
You will be treated the way I like to be treated when I visit my own doctor. We will ALWAYS take the time to listen to your concerns and attend to your specific needs and that’s a promise.
You know, I used to be surprised when someone would drive 90 minutes to our office. It would also surprise me when these same people… who didn’t have insurance… would pay for their care out of their own pocket. These patients must have passed at least 25 other [your practice specialty] offices on their way to see us.
Well, I’m not surprised anymore. You see, once you’re appreciated and treated the way you’re supposed to be treated, you have a more positive attitude, you’re more compliant in following our instructions, and you simply get better faster.
Our goal is simple: We want to help you get out of pain and back to your normal life as quickly as possible. We will do everything in our power to help you get the results you want and as fast as possible!
Thanks again for being our patient and we’ll see you soon!
Sincerely,

P.S. One more thing… it’s important – Almost every patient we talk to tells us the same thing:
“The only thing I regret about coming to you is that I didn’t come sooner.”
I’m sure you know someone like this too - someone who is suffering needlessly and just doesn’t know we can help them. They may even be in your own family or someone you work with.
Well, I’ve enclosed three gift certificates with this letter so you can help them resolve their problem! Give each one to a family member or friend and all they have to do is call by the expiration date on the certificate.
Give it to someone today… before you forget or it expires.
Thanks for helping us spread the word!
