Dear Ministries:
100 Shares Tampa Bay (100STB)was formed in 2014 to support the work of Christian non-profit ministries in the Tampa Bay (Pinellas and/or Hillsborough counties) area. Grants will be awarded to select Christian ministry(s) that will use the grant funds to serve Pinellas/Hillsborough counties to expand an existing program or establish a new initiative.
In order to streamline the grant application process for both ministries and 100 Shares Tampa Bay, we ask that you to submit a Letter of Intent for our grant of $50,000. It is imperative that you carefully read and initial our criteria to be assured that you meet all grant criteria. Only ministries that have met our criteria and submitted a complete Letter of Intent will be considered for the grant process. Ministries will receive an email invitation from the Grants Chair of 100 Shares Tampa Bay to proceed with the Grant Application. Four semi-finalists will then be chosen and considered for the grant award.
The Board of Trustees and Partners are overwhelmed with the faithfulness of the Lord in establishing this grant. We are grateful for our small part in helping such deserving Christian ministries move to the next level of service in our community.

GRANT CRITERIA
-Applicant must share the Gospel of Jesus Christ
-Applicant must be a Christian non-profit ministry
-Applicant may not be a church
-Applicant must have a 501(c) (3) Tax Exempt Status for two (2) years prior to the date of application
-Grant request amount must not exceed half of the applicant’s current operating budget
-Grant request must not include on going operating expenses, rent or endowment
-Grant request for advertising, marketing, consultant fees and salaries in total may not exceed 20% of the grant request amount
-Grant award may not be used for new construction
-Grant award may not be used to underwrite fundraising events
-Applicant will use grant fund to serve Pinellas and/or Hillsborough counties
GRANT SELECTION PROCESS AND AWARD
-Only ministries that have submitted a complete Letter of Intent, have met all criteria and
received a written invitation from 100 Shares may complete the grant application process
-Four semi-finalists will be chosen from the grant applications received
-The semi-finalists will be invited to share their ministries and how their grant request
will benefit their organization at the Fall Partner event in October
-Site visits for the four semi-finalist will be conducted January-March with two visits at
each ministry
-At least one board member must be present during the site visit
-Grant award will be presented at the Partner Event in April
-Grant recipient(s) must send in two progress reports to the Grants Chair during the year
in September and March
-Grant recipient(s) must be present at the Partner Event in April when receiving the grant
and the following award year to present a report regarding the benefits of the grant
awarded
