Dear Local Unit Presidents,
We hope that you are able to have an extra cup of coffee and enjoy a little peace and quiet as your children head back to school. This promises to be an exciting year filled with new experiences and opportunities for growth in our individual PTA/PTSA units and across the School District. We at Council are looking forward to working with all of you and are here to support you throughout the year. We will be sending monthly communications this year with a consistent format to give you useful information and event reminders. So, without further ado, here is our first edition:

Congratulations and Thank You to Snoqualmie Elementary and Fall City Elementary for being the first units to get their voting delegate sheets sent in to Council!!

We would like to be on your agenda for your first general meeting to introduce ourselves to your general membership. Several of you have already done this, but please confirm date and time information with us even if you have.

October 8th-9th—WSPTA Legislative Assembly (SeaTac Marriott)
October 12th—5th District Candidates Forum—hosted in conjunction with Issaquah PTSA Council
October 18th—Presidents & Principals Reception, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Chief Kanim Middle School
