Dear Elkhart Business Owners,

The fall of 2017 will be our seventh season of tackle football in Elkhart for kids in grades three through six. We afford every child in Elkhart interested in tackle football the opportunity to play, regardless of his family’s income. Our goal is to build a winning football culture in Elkhart.

EYFL is a growing league with a deep community partnership with Elkhart Community Schools. This past season we have embarked on a new exciting partnership with Elkhart Community Foundation and are currently working with the City of Elkhart. EYFL is working as a catalyst for change in the football culture in Elkhart by building a solid foundation.

EYFL is a USA Football Heads Up tackling certified program. The EYFL coaches football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship through healthy competition. We hire local, IHSAAlicensed, officials to work each game and we carry an insurance policy on every playerand volunteer associated with the league. This is all made possible through modest registration fees, fundraising, and, in large part,charitable donations made by local businesses.

EYFL is a non-for-profit organization (501c3) that is run and operated by volunteers. Your donation will be used to lower the overall operating costs and will be reinvested in the following ways: helmet replacement, equipmentmaintenance, and a weather-proof scoreboard. Again, charitable donations from local businesses are critical to the longevity of the EYFL.

Equipment Pick-up

Saturday July 29th – Memorial High School game field.

Practices Begin

Week of August 1st – practices held at both Central and Memorial High School practice fields.

Game Schedule

Sunday August 20th – October 8th regular season games will be played at either Memorial or Central High School on alternating weekends (no games Labor Day weekend)
