As you know, NCL, Inc. will hold its 2018Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference inLong Beach CA onApril18-20,2018. It is time for your Chapter to determine if you will sell NCL logo products at this event in the Yellow Rose Showcase. There will be a $100 fee to cover the costs associated with the Showcase. Please complete the Registration form, and send along with a $100 Chapter check made payable to:

SALES TAX: All Chapters selling products in the vendor showcase at the event must:

1)Obtain a temporary seller’s permit at

2)Charge and collect 10.25% sales tax from the purchasers.

3)Remit that tax to California using Form BOE-401-EZ which is attached here for your convenience. Please be preparedtocomplete the form and remit sales tax by check by May 31, 2018. You may also file online at CA BOE. If you “paid sale tax when items were purchased”,this is considered a deduction under short form Line 10-Otherdeductions.

If the item your Chapter wants to sell at Conference is new, you must submit the item to the NCL Headquarters office as soon as possible. All items sold at the Vendor Showcase must be approved by NCL, Inc. Please complete the NCL Logo Item Approval Formfound on the NCL, Inc. Website (Members/Marketplace) and submit it to NCL Headquarters as soon as possible. You must receive approval to create your product/s prior to registering your intent to sell at the Conference.

IMPORTANT: As previously communicated, it is not permissible to sell NCL logo items at the Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference that do not meet our Governance Standards. When registering to sell items at the upcoming event, your registration will require you to acknowledge that the products you intend to sell are compliant with NCL policy. Any products not compliant will be removed from the marketplace.

The selling of NCL logo products at the Annual Meeting & Leadership Conferenceis considered a community fundraising event, therefore, Chapters which apply to sell must be chartered, incorporated in their state of origin and have received their federal and state tax exempt status.

2017 Leadership Conference Yellow Rose Showcase

1.Approval by NCL, Inc.of NCL logo items for sale at the Yellow Rose Showcase is required for all items. (NCL Logo Item Approval Form available on the NCL, Inc. Website/Members/Marketplace.) Items not in compliance with the current NCL, Inc. brand policies may not be sold. NCL, Inc. reserves the right to remove non-compliant items from the showcase.

2.Draped tables will be 6 ft. in length and located in the Vendor Showcase area.

3. NCL, Inc. will provide tabletop signage for each table identifying Chapter name.

4.Transport, storage and display of items are the responsibility of the Chapter, as is staffing and safeguarding monies earned. (Note: Hotels often charge receiving and storage fees which are the responsibility of the Chapter. Please check with the hotel before shipping items.)

  • Boxes will be available to the guests upon check in if addressed correctly. DO NOT reference NCL on the label. If addressed correctly your boxes will be placed in a non-group holding area and charged to the room of the individual addressee.
