Call for Papers

Since 1971, ASPI has been offering English Language Teaching professionals the possibility of sharing experiences and has promoted continuous professional development.

In 2000 and 2006, English Language teachers from the northwest of Argentina and other parts of the country were offered the possibility of discussing, reflecting and sharing their experiences and beliefs at the First and Second Regional Language Conferences. In 2003, ASPI hosted the XXIX FAAPI Conference at which attendants had the pleasure of listening to featured speakers from the country and abroad, as well as sharing with local teachers and lecturers.

This year we would like to invite teachers to submit papers in the following areas:

-IT tools

-Teaching teenagers

-Teaching children + literature for children

-Teaching adults

-Values and diversity in the classroom

-Integrating reading and writing

-Content and activities for teaching in technical schools

-Teaching techniques

-Classroom management

-Materials design

This list is offered as a guideline for prospective contributors. Any other topic can be sent for consideration.

The complete version of the call for papers and guidelines for submitting papers and proposals will be available in our website:

FAAPI CONFERENCE 2010

will be held in Cordoba.

The Conference aims to create a space of reflection and discussion about how the different forms of artistic expression can enrich TEFL to make the learning of English a pleasurable and memorable experience. Linking the arts to TEFL implies the implementation of multi-sensory paths to acquisition: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile, etc. as well as a contribution to language and cultural awareness.
