CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) is an environmental management company under contract to the Department of Energy (DOE) whose mission is to decommission a former nuclear fuel reprocessing facility. CHBWV is located 35 miles south of Buffalo, New York, close to excellent ski resorts, boating, and fishing on Lakes Erie, Ontario and Chautauqua.

Job Summary:

Provide emergency management support for the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) by maintaining Emergency Management Program physical facilities, equipment, and procedures for the Emergency Response Organization (ERO); coordinating both on-site and off-site inventory of equipment and supplies, providing emergency response training, and monitoring training effectiveness through the facilitation of regularly scheduled emergency drills and exercises.

Education & Experience:

BA/BS in a Safety/Health related discipline plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience or recognized equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience on a DOE site is highly desirable. A familiarization with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS) is preferred.
