Alumni Study
The Alumni Study has undergone a major change in methodology. There’s an extra resource that has helped add to the IR data and shows alums’ employment a year out of Ramapo. The National Student Clearing House has been used for some data gathering along with a one-year-out alumni survey IR also reached out to the Advancement Office for information. G. Khaneja reviewed response rates and employment statistics.
Plan for Comprehensive Internationalization
Ben Levy presented the strategic plan for comprehensive internationalization as developed by the International Education Committee.
He reviewed the International Profile and trends and terms within Internationalization and the goals.
Ramsey High School Concurrent Enrollment Agreement
C. Romano presented a template for a concurrent enrollment program with Ramsey High School.
There was discussion of the pros and cons of offering these courses.
The agreement will need a yearly update and reporting process.
New Jobs on Campus
C. Romano presented the new jobs on campus program. This program was created to provide students with more on-campus opportunities so they don’t have to travel off campus for work. The new program should fund up to 100 new jobs.
New criteria have been developed so that students can get actual skills and a hands-on learning opportunity. The positions will be posted on the Archway. There is a small committee that will review these requests.
Commuters and transfer students are encouraged to apply for these positions.
Since this opportunity is an investment of additional funds – supervisors who receive additional positions will need to complete annual reporting requirements that demonstrate outcomes.
