Attached is the statistical data for use in the 2011-2012 academic conduct committee annual report. There were 45males and 84females charged with academic conduct infractions.
The role of Academic Conduct Committee Chair continues to be challenging, demanding, and time consuming. We extend our thanks to you for your leadership, flexibility, and cooperation.

During this reporting period, 99 cases were submitted involving 129 students. There were 63 transfer students compared to 71 for the 2010-2011 academic year. Of the 129 students, 98were deemed responsible and
1 was found not responsible. There are9 cases pending involving 10 students.
There were four appeals for this reporting period. Appeal considerations are based on two criteria: significant procedural error or new evidence not available at the time of the hearing. Four appeals were denied because appeal criterion was not met. Only students who participate in the Academic Conduct Committee Hearing process have the right of appeal.

In conjunction with the sanctions listed above, 21 students were referred to the Writing Center’s Cite Right Program. Three students were referred to the Graham Counseling Center. There were 88students in Academic Administrative Hearings and 12 students in Academic Conduct Committee Hearings.
