Dealer Policy and Information

The paid registration deadline is April 1, 2007. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please, don’t delay! Dealers with special needs like electrical outlets are strongly encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible, but no guarantees will be made. Payment should be by check or money order, made out to the Game Hobbyist’s League.

Rates are for the full 3 days:

One Table: $40 (2 free registrations)

Two Tables: $60 (3 free registrations)

Three Tables: $80 (4 free registrations)

OurCon will run Friday 5-12, Saturday 10-12, and Sunday 10-6. Dealers will be allowed to set up their wares at 4:00 on Friday, and 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Dealers are required to be set up in the Dealer’s Room from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday, but the Dealer’s Room will be open subject to the Dealer’s preference after that time on Saturday and Sunday. Failure to appear - without notice- can result in the forfeiture of reserved table space and/or the loss of paid fees.

Campus security will be checking the building during and after the Con and the Dealers Room will be locked at night, but UMASS, OurCon, and associated individuals and organizations may not be held liable for lost, damaged or stolen wares or any other implied damages.

Dealers are expected to sell quality products at a fair price. Vendors should bear in mind that OurCon will be attended by families and children. Adult games and related products may not be displayed, but should be kept out of reach of youngsters. Strictly adult items, should not be openly displayed; however, signs may be posted at your table indicating that you carry such items. Weapons or weapon replicas may only be sold with the express permission of the Convention Chair. The Convention Chair and Dealers’ Liaison have the express right to require that offensive and/or dangerous items be removed from the convention area.

Table fees will not be refunded unless cancellation is received before April 1, 2007 or you find a replacement vendor who will take all your tables. The Convention Chair reserves the right to cancel the Dealers’ Room or OurCon if circumstances dictate. If this occurs before 9 a.m. on Saturday May 5, full refunds will be issued.

Vendors have the right to receive tables for which they have paid unless previously notified by the OurCon staff. In this eventuality, all or part of the fee will be refunded based on availability of tables and the discretion of the vendor in question.

After receiving your registration form, we will send you a confirmation letter containing directions to the convention, and other information you will need. You will receive your badges for OurCon at the door. We would ask that you also include specific names for the badges in your registration as a security precaution.
