DEAF SENIOR CITIZENS OF RICHMOND

Dear Everyone,

On behalf of Deaf Senior Citizens of Richmond members, we would like to let you know that this organization is non-profit. We have 82 members so far.

The mission of Deaf Senior Citizens of Richmond is to organize themselves and demonstrate the value of each person by offering quality care and services to Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind adults who are ages 55 and up.

While we are on the waiting list for the building with the Cardinal Capital Company, we have been working active and very hard to raise funds. The purpose of fundraising is to help with expenses such as the offices, exercise equipments, etc. for the building.

Our current fundraising project is to design a cook book with delicious recipes given by Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their friends/relatives. We are in process to make copies for sale to help raise funds. Be on the lookout. Please send your favorite recipes to Beverly Bailey at or mail to 7421 Waco Street, Richmond, VA 23294. Deadline on sending recipes is Saturday, February 28th.

If you have questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to contact me at or send to 2907 Skipwith Road, Richmond, VA 23294.
