  • Jr Legion had a great season going 29-10-1 made it to the Regional Finals and Rob Reddick personally thanked the board for the financial support
  • Sr Babe Ruth had a good season
  • Diamond started slow but ended strong and looking forward to next year
  • 10u overall a good season some highs some lows
  • 9u tough season battled adversity and players never gave up
  • 8u – great season went 29-1-1 and advanced to Mid-Atlantic Regional Final and the coaches goal is to keep these kids together in this organization
  • 8u b – coach not present

  5. 2 Majors teams / 2 Minors / 1 Rookie
  6. Games will be on Sat/Sun

  8. Registration is a little light due to Inferno
  9. Field Hockey
  10. Starting Aug 16th
  11. Practices will be Tues/Thurs
  12. 53 participants with (3) 3/4 grade teams, (2) 5/6 grade teams and 13 playing as 1/2 grade

  • 3 nights in September and email is going out this week

  2. Upgrade of fields – looking to get quotes from vendors to upgrade the playing fields
  3. Will be sent out at end of season through website
  4. Field Update
  5. Lake Dr – fields need to be taken care of due to crab grass – getting an estimate quote from Spayd’s
  6. Senior Fields – received a quote from T&D to cut fields when they are not being maintained by teams
  7. Scoreboards – we need additional $1300 to secure 2 scoreboards for Hill Rd – DW, AH - Approved
  8. Sponsorship update
  9. Need 6 more sponsors for the fall season
  10. FH is in need of sponsors as well – single team sponsors cost $325
  11. Legion Post#126 donated to DBCA in return for volunteering to pick up trash bi-annually
  12. Capital improvement
  13. Leaking dugout roof on lower field – Randy Yenser will get in touch with roofer who fixed upper field dugouts
  • Rule Change Proposals
  • Adjust scoring for the rec evaluations. Moving forward there will no longer be a maximum score adjusted by a player’s age. Scoring will still remain 1-4 (BM, LP)
  • For Majors only – eliminate the rule that states a player can only play a position for 2 innings in a row (ED, TC)
  • Coaches get certified
  • Rule clarification – define an inning as 3 consecutive outs
  • Rule clarification – state that substitution and rotation rules are based on a 6 inning game
  • Move nominations of tournament coaches to August and September with tryouts at the discretion of the head coach
  • Regular season worth something – seed for playoffs
