It’s Rachel’s Challenge Week here at North. We will be hearing Challenges from the club each morning this week.
Day 2- Rachel’s Second Challenge: Dream Big (4/19)
Rachel Joy Scott once wrote: “Glory only comes when one pursues their dreams.” On this second day of Friends of Rachel week at North Hunterdon, we want to remind everyone to dream big… you never know where your ideas will take you.
April is Mathematics Awareness Month. It is held each year to increase public understanding of and appreciation for mathematics. Each day, a student has been selected to be the Math Student of the Day. – JP
Also each morning in April, we will read a trivia fact about one of the teachers in the Math Department. Yesterday’sfun fact was“This math teacher had three kids before he was 30.” The correct answer was Mr. Halldorson. Today’s fun fact is“Despite having over 43 quintillionunique orientations, this math teacher can solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded.”Submit the correct guess to the box in room 215 by the end of the day, and you could be tomorrow’s winner! – NM
The North Hunterdon Theatre Organization is proud to present A Scenes & Songs Cabaret, this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:00 in the Theatre! Don’t miss the most unique theatrical event of the year, which includes drama, comedy, slam poetry, and musical numbers in a revue style format. Tickets can be purchased at the door 45 minutes before each performance, at $10 for adults and $8 for students. We hope to see you there! – KM
Many children in NJ do not have access to fresh fruits or vegetables. Please consider donating to the pennies4 produce fundraiser so that we can contribute to programs that will provide them with fresh produce! – KW

The meeting for the Say it in Sign club has been canceled. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 27th in room 010.– CM

The Relay for Life team Answer for Cancer will be having a bake sale after school in the mall tomorrow. I hear their treats are “super yummy”.
