PeeWee Rep Baseball Results
Alberta Provincial League – June 3-4 at Fort Saskatchewan
The Dawson Creek Halo D-Backs earned a respectable split in their opening weekend of PeeWee rep baseball in Fort Saskatchewan. Playing back-to-back double-headers both days, the heat took its toll as the D-Backs dropped two lop-sided games to a strong Cold Lake entry, but earned its first two wins of the young season over the host Fort Saskatchewan Red Sox.
Offensively, the D-Backs were led by Tyson McCallum and Jason Ginter with 4 hits each. McCallum reached base in 8 of 10 attempts. McCallum and Ginter were also rock-solid behind the plate. On the mound, lefty Dylan Remenyk was exceptional and many other D-Backs dug deep to earn their team extra outs all weekend.
