Called to order at 1745 by Chairman Dale Kreiman
Members Present: Joe Sharbono, Michael Bacon, Heath Craig, Art Gehnert, Dale Kreiman, Jason from Ranger Review
Minutes or previous meeting were read and approved
Moving of Weed Department was discussed. Joe and Heath informed and updated the board of the situation. It was decided to have Michael write a letter to the commissioners advising them that it is in the weed departments best interest to leave it where it is now.
Heath reported that we will have the mosquito sprayers calibrated the following week. All of the equipment has been serviced and is ready for work.
He also reported that as soon as Buffalo Rapids gives us the OK we will start spraying the canal
We also got requests to spray for DCC and Jim Whiteman. He met with the college rep and get a of action started. Heath also met with the new coordinator of FWP and have a tentative general plan in place for the fishing accesses. FWP has been pleased with our past work and is looking forward to having us spray for them again this season.
Joe stated that the boat is ready to go and that we have yet to hear from Richland County if they want us to spray for them. Joe mentioned contacting them just to inform them that we are up and running. It was decided that we could rent out the boat with Heath as the operator but not to rent it to others due to liability issues.
Michael reported that the weed management plan has been updated and revamped. Motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the new weed plan. Michael stated that once passed by the commissioners he will make copies for all the members.
Michael also reported that the Dept. of Ag called and wants to meet with the board, the weed dept. employees and the commissioner on the 12th of June at 10:45.
Next meeting scheduled on 12 June @ 1330.
