This contract involved datawarehousing using cubes in Analysis Services. The first part of the work was to create new Windows servers to manage the database and the cubes, and a web server to manage the front end. Then I migrated the databases from SQL Server 2000 to 2005 and the cubes from Analysis Services 2000 to 2005. Links to many other databases had to be created and the dimensions rebuilt. Most of this work was performed remotely through Citrix, as the dimensions rebuilds had to be started at any time on a 24x7 basis.
