HOW TO REQUEST E-TEXT:

  1. Decide which textbooks you want in electronic format. If you are going to be primarily listening to your e-texts, textbooks with a lot of images, numerical equations, or foreign languages may not be helpful in electronic format.
  2. Complete the e-text request form (on reverse) either in-person or electronically. This form can be completed in-person by stopping by our office, or it can be completed electronically at www.clemson.edu/studentaccess. If you complete this form electronically, send your completed form to . Proof of purchase must be verified either way (receipt, online order confirmation, or book in hand.)

3.  Once you have submitted your e-text request, a staff member will confirm receipt of the form and work as quickly as possible to locate the file and deliver it to you in whichever method you prefer (either flash drive or email) within 3-5 business days.

a.  Note: For older textbooks or textbooks published by smaller companies, the wait time could be longer.

4.  If no electronic copy can be located, Student Accessibility Services (SAS) may have to cut the spine of your textbook off and scan each page, so that the textbook can be saved as a PDF. SAS will notify you before ever cutting a textbook.
