Date: December 6, 2017 Subject: Out of County Provider Payment Rates
Proposed Board Action:
Adopt a change to the Coalition’s Contract Management Policy removing out of county provider reimbursement rates and implementing Dixie County’s provider reimbursement rates as the approved rates for out of county providers.
Budget Considerations:
The total budget implication of this change has not been determined due to the amount of time required for board approval for timely submission of the Coalition’s School Readiness Plan.
Background Information:
The Coalition currently maintains a separate reimbursement rate for all providers that are located outside of the Coalition’s five county service area. Due to a recent update to Florida Rule, out-of-county provider reimbursement rates are no longer allowable.
