DASA Training at the OWL Teacher Center

The Dignity for All Students Act requires all newly certified (December 31, 2013 and after) educators to undergo a minimum of 6 hours of training by a NYS certified provider.

The OWL Teacher Center, a state certified provider, is offering 6 hour workshops for all New York teachers who are required to take them. Workshop dates will be added according to demand.

Our instructors will be conducting the workshops according to the following schedule:

This is a hybrid training consisting of three hours of face to face instruction, plus three hours of online modules. At the face to face segment you will receive a Welcome Packet and an access code to Edmodo. The Welcome Packet will contain comprehensive instructions on how to successfully complete the online segment of the course.

Please email before mailing this form and your check to be sure that there is room in the class.

NOTE: Due to our costs of running this program, you must pay the instructor separatelyon the day of the training. Please bring a check or MO to the training in the amount of $50 payable to Matters of the Mind and Heart. (You may also bring cash.)
