Welcome to the Dancin’ Doug Travel (DDT) 10th Anniversary Celebration Trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. We are pulling out all the stops and going SUPER LUXURY at the Bona Fide 5 Star Hard Rock “Heaven” Adults Only Resort.
WE ARE GONNA PARTY LIKE ROCK STARS!!!
We are calling EVERYONE who has ever taken a DDT trip before, and ALL of the Newbies who want to experience a DDT Travel Extravaganza, to join us for 6 Days and 5 Nights of All Inclusive FUN as we celebrate 10 years of Summer Madness trips.
ENTERTAINMENT/ITINERARY:
We want you to be TOTALLY engrossed in Happiness and Fun while we are there. Hard Rock... Heaven will be providing some EXTRA Entertainment (Foam Parties and such) to add onto our FUN agenda. Keep in mind that we are having 2 “Theme” Parties next year on our 10th Anniversary:
We are substituting the "Harlem Nights--Cotton Club in the Caribbean" Night for our Annual Masquerade Ball--so there will be no Masks, just everyone dressed in their Roaring 20's Finery.
ANDDDD the Actual Theme Party will be The African Pharaohs and Queens on the last night. We want to show our Magnificent Royalty and honor our Ancestors...So Get ready!!
FUN ITINERARY:
• Saturday: "Meet and Greet" Pajama Party.
• Sunday: "Cotton Club comes to the Caribbean"—'Harlem Nights' Theme Party. This is going to be Niiiiiiiice! We are going to Dance the “Jitter-Bug”, “Swing”, "Lindy Hop" and “Charleston” all night!
Our Dance Instructors will do a basic teaching on Saturday. Hott Shoes Concert. Comedy Show.
• Monday: All Star Sports Jersey Night Party. Wear any Sports Jersey. Hip Hop Concert. We may switch this til Tuesday.
• Tuesday: Beach Party (DDT PARTY SHIRTS PROVIDED). R&B Concert.
• Wednesday: African Kings and Queens Theme Party (Costume).
• Thursday: Head home EXHAUSTED!!
COMEDY:
Its Official; Capone, the “Gangsta of Comedy” will return as our Comedy Host. Dig this: He is bringing two more Comedians with him; Kenny Woo and Alfred Kainga. Our DDT King-Bob Thomas saw their Comedy review in Dallas and told me they were CRAZY! The 3 Comedians will be there throughout the entire week to Host ALL of our Events—so we will be LAUGHING the entire time!
DANCE INSTRUCTION:
We are doubling up on the Dance Instruction this year. Doug X-Man Hawkins returns to do our Line Dancing. He was gone for a minute but is back with a host of new dances. AND we are bringing Sarah back as well. She will do the “Chicago Steppin” Instruction (and maybe a Line Dance or two). You will be dancing the days away and showing off your new stuff at night.
GAMES:
We are working on implementing a new system to get more people involved in the games. You will be pleasantly surprised. We will have ONE person as the Game Czar, with a committee, to ensure they run smoothly.
TALENT:
We will have a Super array of 7 DJ's to cater to your musical pleasure.

MUSIC:
We will have 2 LIVE Concerts: R&B and Hip Hop.
**NEW: Old Skool R & B Concert: We’re starting our Concert Series off by adding a new twist. We will now do an Old Skool R&B Concert in addition to the Old Skool Hip Hop Concert. The R&B Artist is signed and ready to go! We will be ROCKING with JEFF REDD on Tuesday night in the Ballroom after the DDT Beach Party. Check out one of his Greatest Hits:
**Old Skool Hip Hop Concert: We will be ROCKING with the Old Skool Hip Hop Group: “NICE AND SMOOTH”. They will be with us all week. I want you all to get a chance to interact with them. I always feel the Talent needs to stay a minute and show some Love to the DDT Family. That’s just me. I know our people will be appreciate the interaction with someone as open and inviting as Kurtis Blow—He not only is a Good Person, but is a TRUE Professional, as is Roxanne Shante.
INVITED GUEST APPEARANCES:
We will have Guest appearances by Kurtis Blow (he will be there to celebrate with us as one of our good friends will be getting married on the trip) and Roxanne Shante.
THIS JUST IN: WE WILL HAVE A CONCERT IN THE OCEAN!
We negotiated to have a Live Concert wherein they will set a stage IN THE WATER and we will be able to party in the water (3-4 ft deep) and have a secluded Beach to party on! Land and Sea—We Party!!
We will also be Partying each night after our Private Parties in the Hard Rock Club—which has a 3 foot Pool for a dance floor—with 2 King sized Jacuzzis:
INCENTIVE:
DDT Capos/Agents, per the contract, 25 rooms sold gets you a FREE room AND an Upgrade to the next level of room per majority of type of rooms sold. 13 rooms gets you a free Bed in Double Occupancy.
DDT LAYAWAY PLAN:

For Deluxe Gold in Heaven and in Hacienda: $100 due on July 15, and $100 per month due on the 15th of the Month. Final Balance and Payment is due on March 15, 2017.
For Sky Terrace Suites: $150 due on July 15, and $150 per month due on the 15th of the Month. Final Balance and Payment is due on March 15, 2017.

RESERVATION:

CANCELLATION POLICY:
181 days or more, prior to scheduled group arrival date, no PENALTY will be assessed.
180-151 days: There will be a 50% Penalty of Total cost of room.
150-121 days: There will be a 75% Penalty of Total cost of room.
120 days prior to/up to group arrival date: There will be a 100% Penalty (TOTAL COST OF ROOM).
THERE IS A STANDARD DDT ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $100 ADDED ONTO ALL HOTEL FEES AND CANCELLATIONS.

PLATINUM SKY TERRACE: @ HEAVEN--ADULTS ONLY-- DOUBLE OR TRIPLE $1,400. SINGLE: $2,100. We have 125 King Beds. You can request a cot for a second Bed, availability is determined by the Resort. DDT CANNOT guarantee that! **They are the most desirable and will be sold on a first come-first served basis (no call in reservations)** LOL Each room has access to a Private 2nd floor Sky Terrace with lounge chairs and hydro spa tub (Jacuzzi)
DELUXE GOLD @ HACIENDA FAMILY RESORT— We have reserved 25 rooms (Double Beds) at the Hacienda side for DDT Families. DOUBLE: $1,150pp. SINGLE: $1,700pp. The cost for children is: 1-3: Free. 4-17: $400 per child. The cost for children is based on Double Occupancy. Therefore, the cost for a single person and each child is: $1,700 plus $400. Or if its 2 parents/adults: $1,150pp plus each chlld.
FOR DDT FAMILY BRINGING CHILDREN TO THE FAMILY SIDE OF THE RESORT (Hacienda Resort): Keep in mind, no children are allowed on the Adults side where we will be staying. The Hacienda is less than a 5-10 minute walk across the connecting Lobby or Plaza, or a quick golf cart shuttle, so you won't be far from us.
There are Child Care packages available for the stay.
We can arrange that for you on an individual child age-related basis.

It costs us a lot of money and effort to visit several Resorts and select one for our Group. We don't only pay for the rooms, but we also pay costs for the shuttle service, DJs that provide music, Artists for Entertainment, Dance Instructors, Tee-shirts and Masks, Shipping costs, Drink set-ups and Private Dinners.
Those costs are shared by all who attend. By deliberately booking directly with another Travel Agency and attempting to circumvent those costs, you are STEALING from EVERYONE--so please DON'T DO IT.
We know that sometimes it may be due to mis-information, or lack of knowledge. We understand that and will try to resolve those situations.
