Email

Please make sure we always have your current email address on file. We send out monthly newsletters with important information on them and attach order form or notes going home too.

Advancement Policy
Students are placed in classes according to their age and ability at the time of registration. Promotion is considered on the basis of individual achievement at the discretion of the instructor.
Class size
Classes must have at least 5 students participation to keep the class open. If a class has more than 15 students enrolled, it may be split into two separate classes at the teacher’s discretion.
Class Arrival and Departures
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get ready for your scheduled class. We ask you to walk your child into the building for class and that you walk into the building to pick your student up after class. For your child’s safety, students will not be allowed to wait outside the building. Please do not drop off students early and leave. Instructors will only be accountable for students when class begins.

Class Observation
Since the studio does not have a viewing window, we will periodically have the parents in the waiting room come in to see the progress of the student(s). Videotaping a dance to help their student(s) practice at home is encouraged.
Restroom
Please have students use the restroom before class begins each week. It is disruptive to the instructor and students to have to stop a class for students to use the restroom during class.
Dance Attire
Girls: Appropriate dance attire with tights and dance shoes
Boys: Pants and t-shirt or warm-ups (no blue jeans)

  • Hair should be pulled back out of your face before entering class
  • Oversize clothing and street shoes will not be allowed
  • All shoes and extra dance items should be in a dance bag with the student’s name on all items (student’s initials on each shoe). We are not liable for any misplaced items.

RecitalCostumes
Costumes are selected by the instructor and are able to view (pictures) after Christmas Break. Notes will go home with the costs for each costume and the payment due dates. Each student must have a costume to participate in recital. Please notify instructor if your child does not plan on being in recital. Costumes will be handed out once June tuition is paid in full.
Recital
Recital will be June 18th, 2016. Dress Rehearsal will be June 17th and will be a mandatory practice. Both will be at First Wesleyan Church. Tickets are sold separately.
Fundraisers
Students will be able to participate in fundraiser to benefit the dance studio and to help pay for costumes for recital. Information will be coming home during the dance season.
