Today Samantha is moving to EWU… It is going to be a little different around here with no children at home… “Empty Nest Syndrome:… It’s been almost 34 years since there have been no children in the house… I’m waiting to hear from Spokane Cardiology so I will know what my next move is… Feels like fall is in the air…

All is as well as it can be… Josh & Stephanie finally have water on their property, just like a real house… Jenna & Samuel are back in school, Samantha starts at EWU next week… After 18 days of vacation, Bonnie had to return to work yesterday… Got my hearing aids 2 weeks ago, waiting to hear from Spokane Cardiology… All is good, Fall is less than 2 weeks away…

Wow, the first day of August already!!! It’s been perty hot here, not liking the 90’s… Josh and Stephanie got their well drilled, hopefully they should get it hooked up soon… Haven’t got much painting done on the outside of the house, can’t seem to find the energy… Going to get some hearing aids next week…. WHAT???

As I am writing this blog we are having some thunderstorms… We had an OK 4th of July… Jenna turned 9 on the 6th, Samuel turns 7 in August… Samantha starts school at EWU the end of August… Has been in the 90s here, I don’t like the 90s… The bills are getting paid, life goes on…

Had to replace the liner on the pool, had a major leak… Got the garden planted, waiting to reap the benefits… Josh is having some of his timber harvested… Jenna and Samuel only have a few days of school left… Had to purchase a new washer & dryer today, the old ones were 14 years old and having issues… Life is OK, feeling a little fatigued and short of breath but life goes on… I hope everyone has a nice summer!!! Grandma came for a visit, I believe a good time was had by all… The pool is up and going, waiting for warmer weather… Getting honey doo’s done, building fences and painting… Everyone is doing OK and the bills are getting paid…

Things are going OK,,, Hopefully Spring is in the air… Spent Easter at Josh and Stephanie’s, A good time was had by all… Lots of rain headed our way, April showers bring May flowers…

Had a little wakeup call yesterday… Went to the ER, at the advice of my cardiologist, “chest discomfort” had some test preformed. “Stress test shows besides having heart valve disease and a right bunch branch block I was informed the sometime since the last stress test I have had a heart attack… It’s time to make some major changes in my world…

It’s snowing this morning, guess winter isn’t finished yet… Went up to Josh and Stephanie’s this last weekend and helped Josh replace some water pipes in their house, had a spaghetti dinner and Jenna and Samuel got to go sledding… All is good…

Wow, where did summer go??? Starting to feel like fall, we are ready for some cooler temps… Got a lot of things accomplished this summer even had the roof replaced on the house… The Grand children are back in school, Samantha is taking a year off of school and save some $$$... Had a school shooting yesterday just south of Spokane, 3 injured, 1 deceased… It’s a crazy world we live in…

Its been a little over a month, figured I better update the blog… Tomorrow Samantha Schill graduates from SFCC and in the fall starts another chapter in her life… Doesn’t seem like we are going to have much of a summer, been rainy a lot… Bonnie got a NEW 2017 Explorer about 4 weeks ago; she deserves a new set of wheels… Myself, just being a house husband… All is good, the bills are getting paid, can’t ask for more than that…

Been almost a month and it is still raining!!! I did get the heater going on the pool but it wont really help if it is still raining… Samantha made a 4 day trip with the college to the other side of the state… Josh and Stephanie are going to start hauling cars and trucks and parts up to their new place… YEAAA, we will finally have an empty garage to park GMA’S car in… Life is good…

Got the pool filled up and filtering, then this morning it snows!!! Don't think winter is done yet... Guess the whole family is going to Stephanie and Joshes house for Easter... Waiting for WW3 to start because of the issue in Syria...

Spring has finally arrived the snow is gone and the ice is off of the pool... Now if it would stop raining... About 2 weeks until tax day... All is going good in the park...

It's 7:30am snowing lightly hopefully it will turn to rain... Looks like Josh and Stephanie will be signing the papers for their new home the end of this week... The home comes with 63 acres of land... Very Proud of what the 2 of them have accomplished...

February is almost here, spring is ONLY less than 2 months away... Has snowed quite a bit, any snow is too much... The Grand Kids are doing good, Josh and Stephanie should here some news about the house they are trying to buy in the coming month... Samantha is unemployed but still going to school... Everyone is surviving, the bills are getting paid, all is well...

New Years was OK, now it’s over and we can move forward… Weather has been snowy and tonight it is suppose to be minus 2… Not much warmer for the days… School starts again this week, just trying to stay warm… Happy New Year everyone….

Thanksgiving has come and gone, gained at least 5Lbs… Got about 3 inches of snow last night, I’m sure it will melt by the end of the day… Got most of the Christmas presents taken care of over the weekend… Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone !!!

Feeling old… Last Monday the 24th of October our youngest child turned 21… Don’t know where the last 20 + years have gone… Oh well, Halloween is in 4 days then on to Thanksgiving and Christmas… Suppose to get the big 0.03 % COLA from Social Security… That’s about $5.00 per month… WOW…

Not to much longer until the election… I like everyone else am tired of the political bullshit… It’s more like a slam campaign… I will be glad when it’s over… Don in Kenai, AK said they received their 1st snowfall of the season, about 2 weeks we should get our 1st dusting… Kids are all in school, everyone else is working and living the American Dream…

Well it’s the first day of October,,, kids are all back in school,,, Bonnie has to work Saturdays in Spokane… It’s almost harvest time and the holidays will be here before we know it… The long range forecast for the Pacific Northwest is above average snowfall and colder temps… Could be an interesting winter…

Not a good day… I have no puppy to share my meals with, no puppy to follow the mower, no puppy to take for rides or walks… This hurts bad !!! My nose and eyes are sore from wiping them…

Yesterday was one of those days you never want to repeat… Yesterday we had to put Starry down… I am so sad, she was the best dog you could ever want… In less than 2 years we have had to put down both of our dogs… Sometimes life don’t seem fair… We are going to miss our puppies a lot… Rest In Peace Starry and Rocky… We Love You !!!

Snow is melting, temps in the 40’s… The babies have been coming over 4 to 5 days a week, keeps PA busy… Bonnie has been working overtime every day, Samantha ends her career at McDonalds on Wednesday and starts her new job at sally’s next week… AK had a 7.1 quake a few days ago…

Why is it that every day this country bows down to immigrants??? They don’t want to offend anyone! We can’t say the Pledge of Allegiance, can’t say Merry Christmas, can’t be a Christian… I for one say if you don’t like the beliefs in this country then leave!!! I don’t know anyone that went to another country and tried to change their beliefs… Just Sayin…
