Have you ever wanted something very badly? What would you have traded to have it? How did you feel when you didn’t get it? Think back to that time. That’s how ZikiSwaze and the thousands of other kids working in cobalt mines in the Congo feel every day. As little children, they have just one wish-to go to school. We are all partly responsible for this child labor as cobalt is an essential component of the electronic devices that we use every day. But there is hope. You can help make a child’s dream come true. By donating any amount of money, you can help a child to go to school. Put your contributions in the boxes that will be located in the cafeteria from May 7 to May 25 during all lunches. Remember, every penny counts.

Don't forget to sign up for the free girls self-defense clinic, May 24th. Clinic will be run at LMS from 3-5. Open to 7th and 8th graders. Use link below to register.
