Cahill Club:

The Founder's Day Award Dinner will take place on May 21, 2014 at Flourtown Country Club- 150 McCloskey Road, Flourtown, PA 6:00 pm. The Cahill Club is extending an invitation to faculty and students to attend this annual dinner at the discounted rate of $25. We are hoping that you will come out to honor Fr. Flanagan, Mr. Wagner '91, as well as David T. Schwab '14 and our other honorees. Please send all responses to Ms. Terri Evans at the McSherry Annex.

Junior Prom: Junior Prom tickets are presently being sold in the Financial Affairs Office. Guidelines for the purchase of Junior Prom tickets, together with information and details for the Junior Prom, were presented and discussed at the Junior Parent/Student Meeting on April 2nd. Junior Prom tickets need to be purchased by today.

SADD:

SADD’s next general membership meeting will be this Thursday, May 8th. Any sophomore or junior interested in running for an officer position in SADD next year should attend this meeting. See you there!

Football:

Football weight testing and workoutsare this week.

The schedule is as follows:
Today is present Freshman.

Tomorrow we have workouts at Arrow Field in Roxborough. (This will be the last workout for the Spring. All Football players are reminded to bring their equipment.)

Wednesday is present Sophomores

Varsity and Freshman Baseball are dismissed after 7th period today.

Track and Field:

The track team competed in two meets on Saturday. At Neshaminy senior Matt Brown stole the show breaking the 35 year old school record in the mile! His time of 4:20.24 ranks him in the top 20 in the state and qualifies him for the national meet. The 4x100m relay of senior Gerald Pringle, juniors Calvin Dennis and Kenny Avallon, and sophomore Humza Basil also medaled with a 4th place finish. At the PCL freshman championships, the Cahillites finished 2nd as a team. Tyler Zwicharowski and Sean Brown led the way delivering a one, two punch in both the mile and 800 meter run. They would then join Asad Grant and Aiden Welch on the 2nd place 4x400 meter relay. Grant took 4th in the 300m hurdles with John Paul in 5th. Welch along with Kendrick Wright, Joseph Quinn, and Rocco DelQuadro finished 5th in the 4x800m relay. Christian Smith took 2nd in the 110m hurdles and 6th in shot put. The 4x100m relay of Dahmeer Duvernay, Qamar Bey, Brandon Milbourne, and Brian Matunda overcame a dropped baton for 6th in the 4x100m relay. Milbourne was also 6th in the 100m dash

Dr. Beach- 1st and 2nd periods to the cafeteria, 6th period to the gym, 8th period dismissed with assignment.

Mr. Moore- 5th period to the gym.

Mrs. DiGiovanni- 2nd period to the cafeteria, 3rd and 4th periods to the gym, 8th period dismissed.

Mr. DiGiovanni- 2nd period to the cafeteria, 3rd, 4th, and 7th periods to the gym.

Mr. Shanahan-2nd period to the cafeteria, 7th period to the gym.

Ms. Sperry-1st and 2nd periods to the cafeteria, 4th and 5th periods to the gym, 8th period dismissed.

Mr. Coyle- 1st period to the cafeteria, 8th period dismissed with assignment.

Mr. Dietz- 1st and 2nd periods to the cafeteria, 5th and 7th periods to the gym, 8th period dismissed.

Mrs. Legradi- 1st and 2nd periods to the cafeteria, 5th, 6th, and 7th periods to the gym.
