DACUM Facilitator
A DACUM Facilitator assits workers in analyzing their occupations throught the production of a job profile chart during a neutrally facilitated storyboard session to enhance employee development, training programs and human resources services.
Duties and Tasks
A) Consult With Potential DACUM Client
A-1) Disseminate DACUM materials
A-2) Explain DACUM process; present DACUM concepts, rationale & benefits
A-3) Assess client's need for DACUM
A-4) Identify potential worker groups
A-5) Establish procedure for providing DACUM services
B) Plan Initial and Validation Workshop
B-1) Review available profiles
B-2) Orient client contact
B-3) Assist with identification of worker groups; ID workshop participants, develop profile
B-4) Schedule workshop; dates, time, location, arrange activities
B-5) Select facilitation team
B-6) Contact workshop participants; panelists, observers, written w/follow-up phone calls
B-7) Arrange for support services; lodging, food
B-8) Obtain workshop materials
B-9) Confer with facilitation team
B-10) Monitor logistical arrangements
B-11) Confirm participation of DACUM panel members
C) Conduct Initial DACUM Workshop
