The CUZCO UNDERGROUND CINEMA FESTIVAL is an independent film festival that takes place in the beautiful and touristic city of Cuzco, southeast of Peru, recognized as the historical capital of that nation and which houses millennia of Inca culture. The habitants of the whole Department can enjoy good world cinema, projected on walls that have centuries of culture, which gives the festival a particular historical and cultural connotation.
We invite you to visit our festival this November.

The dates for the reception of the films are:
Advanced: before August 1
Normal: before September 1
Late: before October 1
Extended: before November 1

Advanced: before August 1
Short films: $ 8; Feature films: $ 12
Normal: before September 1
Short Films: $ 10; Feature films: $ 14
Late: before October 1
Short films: $ 12; Feature films: $ 16

NOTIFICATION

PARTICIPANTS
The call is for world filmmakers.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
All those who possess audiovisual productions within the scope of novel creation may compete.
Works will not compete for the Festival members.
Movies that have participated in previous editions will not be supported.
Short films should not exceed 40 minutes and feature films should be longer than 41 minutes.
PART TECHNIQUES
Works may be made in any cinematographic or digital format.
Works in any language will be accepted for competition, as long as they are subtitled in Spanish or English.
Each participant can present to the Festival the works they want.
INSCRIPTION
The registration will be made through the platform of your choice or directly with the festival, writing to the email . In any case, the registration fee must be applied.
Movies of any subject are accepted. As long as they do not violate the rights of any person.
It is not necessary that the film to participate this debut, in addition the same can be online.
You can also send the files of the shorts, in addition to the complementary material and photographs of the work.
All participants, due to being so, must accept the present bases.
The decision of the selection jury is final.
SELECTED
The works will be screened by a Selection Jury that will be chosen by the Festival team and will also work on the final selection of the contest.
The selection of the finalists, will be announced through social networks and web page: http://cucifestival.weebly.com/
The selected works must send a trailer or selection of images of the work, to promote the same.
AWARDS
The jury will award prizes to competing categories.

JURY
The Jury will be a group of people qualified for such purposes, composed of professionals from the world of film, audiovisual and cultural.
The prizes can be deserted if the jury decides so.
The verdicts of the Selection Committee and the Jury will be final.
GENERAL RULES
The jury will select the works that enter the competition in each category. Once selected, the participant will be informed
The Festival may make projections during the festival's development of those works that have not been selected, but such works will not opt for any awards.
The screening of the selected short films will take place at times and places considered appropriate by the festival organization.
All participants, because of their being so, fully accept the present bases, as well as the resolution by the organization of any problem not accepted in these.
