The Second year:

3. Examination at end of the second year in the bedside clinical examination.
The Third year:
1. Supervision of the first and second year students in clinical rounds,
2. Cardiac catheterization for congenital heart disease problems, i.e. transcatheter closure of cardiac defect ( such as ASD and PDA) ( 100 cases )as well as diagnostic coronary angiography ( 25 cases )
3. Conducting a research project, to be discussed and examined at the end of the third year as a partial fulfillment of the requirement of the degree of fellowship entitled:
( Pattern of Congenital Heart Disease in Iraqi Patients) which was accepted by the examination Committee, on the 10 th . July, 2013.
4. Participation in the activities of the clinical conference, lectures, and journal clubs.
5. Comprehensive exam at the end of the third year which consist of written and clinical exam.
At the end of the third year: He passed the final examination and was awarded the degree of “ Fellow” of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations in Pediatric Cardiology on the 13th.May, 2014.
