CHERYL WOLLEY
Collaboratore ed esperto linguistico/Professore a contratto (Administrative Science) at the Faculty of Economic, Legal and Political Sciences.
Qualifications:
(1975) B.A. Honours combined degree in Philosophy, English and Welsh.
Post graduate qualifications include:
- 1979 an Italian language diploma at the University of Perugia.
- 2000 The TEFL Certificate (Teachers of English as a Foreign Language), grade
A, obtained at The English Language Centre, Bond Street, London.
- 2001 The TEFL Diploma, grade A+, awarded at The English Language Centre, Bond Street, London.
- 2007 The Further Certificate for Teachers of Business English LCCI, grade pass with distinction at the Università Cattolica, Roma.
Since 1976 until the present date she has worked as a native speaker language teacher (Lettore and then CEL), teaching English to students of Political Science and the newly named Economics, Legal and Political Sciences Faculty from beginner to post-intermediate level. During her 40 years of experience she has integrated traditional methodology with multimedia technology and language laboratories. She has also taught English at Facoltà di Magistero (1977-1978) and at the Faculty of Letters, University of Sassari, Consorzio Uno, Oristano (2002-2003).
During her teaching career she has also taught courses of both a general and specific ESP nature at the Language Centre of the University of Cagliari.
From 2007 until 2010 she was a contract professor for the laurea magistrale (second level degree course) Programmazione e Gestione delle Politiche e dei Servizi Sociali.
From 2010 to the present date she has been contract professor for the laurea magistrale Scienze dell’ Amministazione.
