  • Successfully developed a low profile surface coating on 1 oz/ft2 copper foil that can provide adequate bond strength to polymer substrates, determined its peel strength, determined failure modes and evaluated methods to improve the peel strength.

  • Compiled list of suppliers carrying components used in faculty research projects. Contacted suppliers to obtain recommendations and price quotes on supplies and components.
  • Fabrication of micro-miniature tubular solid oxide fuel cells by electropherotic coating.
  • Application of hydroxyapetite coating on titanium dental posts to maximize bone ingrowth.
  • Metallurgical lab experience studying Ti-Mo based Pseudo-elastic alloy for biomedical application. Also performed sample preparation and had experience using optical microscope.
