List of Items Recommended for Camp

- Passport/vaccination certificate with up to date ‘flu and Tetanus jabs

Stable:

- Headcollar and leadrope

- Haynet

- Water bucket

- Feed bucket/s

- Paper bedding is provided (If shavings needed/preferred you must supply your own)

- Mucking out fork

- Shovel

- Broom

- Sack/skip/wheelbarrow (preferable)

- Rubber gloves

Grooming kit:

- Dandy brush, body brush, curry comb

- Hoof pick and oil

- Sponges, sweat scraper, shampoo, stable stain removing kit!

- Plaiting kit: comb, bands, needle and thread

- Tail bandage

Feed:

- Bring your own hard feed. If your pony does not have hard feed, please bring some carrots to have in a bucket so they don’t feel left out!

- Hay is provided

If your pony has any special requirements make sure that you inform your yard manager.

For Riding (You will be marked on turn out every day)

- Tack cleaning kit

Pony:

- Bridle, saddle, girth, stirrups

- Black/brown/white or navy numnahs/saddle cloths (several if possible)

- Any martingale, boots, etc usually worn by your pony

Rider:

- Black/navy/brown covered riding hat to the correct standard (if not already ‘tagged’ we recommend you get it checked before camp)

- Body protector

- Black or brown Jodhpur boots and matching chaps/long boots

- Beige/cream/white jodhpurs (several pairs)

- Curre rugby top (green)/Curre long sleeved polo shirt (navy)/Curre Tetrathlon Hoody/white shirt

with PC tie.

- Gloves

- Hairnet and hair tied up above the collar unless you have very short hair

- Hacking Jacket for turn out on last day

- Curre/waterproof coat for potential rain!

General:

- T-shirts

- Jeans/tracksuit bottoms/shorts

- Hoodies/jumpers

- Old clothes for mucking out

- Pyjamas

- Shoes/trainers (NOT TO BE WORN ON THE YARD)

- Wellingtons

- Waterproof trousers are useful!

- Washing equipment (toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo etc) and towel

- Swimming costume and towel

- Pillow

- Sleeping bag

- Air/camp bed if sleeping in stables

- Jewelry (you are not allowed to ride in any jewelry, including piercings)

- Valuable items
