The Show venue is at Jenkinsons Field Brougham near Penrith, Cumbria CA10 2DE.
Please may we make you aware that this year there are various changes to the Show Timetable.
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE NUMBER OF FELL PONY RIDDEN ENTRIES, THAT RING WILL RUN ALL DAY AND AS SUCH CLASHES WILL BE INEVITABLE. CLASSES CANNOT BE HELD UP.
If anyone could spare time on Show Day or before the Show to set it up we would be most grateful for any offers of help.

“To be run under National Pony Society Rules 2017”
This class is open to pure bred registered Fell ponies which are either stabled at home or in a DIY
yard and which since 1st January in the current year have not been shown by a producer or stabled in a
producer’s yard other than on a DIY basis or at stud. Ponies shown in these classes must be produced and shown by the owner/spouse, or his/her Immediate Family, who does not receive remuneration in cash or kind from working with horses/ponies.
Please enter this class in the spirit it is intended. Competitors who contravene the above will be disqualified.
The Pony eligible for the Championship final at the NPS Summer Championship Show is the first
placed pony. Qualification may pass down to third if 1st and 2nd have qualified.
10. Fell Pony Young Handler (Handler to be 16 years or under as of 1st January in the current year). (Hard Hats to be worn) (Stallions excluded) All entries to receive a rosette.

RULES
Any person riding within the show premises must wear a riding hat conforming to current BSI hat safety standards. Hard hats to be worn by all competitors in Young Handler classes 10 AND 37.
Ponies must be registered with either the Fell Pony Society or the Dales Pony Society.
The current showing rules of each Breed Society apply to the appropriate classes. Please contact the Breed Society concerned if you need a copy.
