There are still opportunities to help these girls have a fun and memorable character building week!

Day Camp coordinators are asking Troops to collect empty toilet paper rolls and empty paper towel rolls for camp projects. They are also looking for sponsors that will get their name on the registration web-site and their name printed on the back of all camp shirts- donations are $249 per company.

Camp Athena--A brand new weeklong resident camp, Artemis’ sister camp.-- open to all girls in 5th - 12th grade (fall 2017) and focuses on developing leadership skills through Outdoor Education. With adult staff guidance, youth staff members (OWLS –Outdoor Warrior Leadership Sisterhood) have worked throughout the year to develop plans for the camp. These include hiking, backpacking, archery, swimming and outdoor skills. We believe leadership skills are best taught in a setting where outdoor living and outdoor fun are the focus;and the skills learned are easily applied during daily camp activities. Camp Athena is a unique experience because unlike most day camps and Girl Scout camps,Camp Athena is run by girls for girls. A typical day at Athena may include swimming, singalongs, phase pride, legends, archery, ceremonies, hiking, camp spirit, and much, much more.

Contact me directly if you have any questions and hope to see you there.
