Cub Scout Leader Training You Need
Check off your training – or write in your training plan!o YPT (Youth Protection Training) is required every calendar year. You can take YPT on-line in your MyScouting account, or come to live training at 6:30 before Roundtable on Oct 6, 2016, Feb 2, 2017, June 1, 2017.
o Leader Specific Training give you the tools and information to deliver a good program.
o In-person BLAST (Beginning Leader Accelerated Success Training) is a live 3-hour course that gets your trained quickly. BLAST is scheduled:
* Tues. Oct 4 in Three Forks
* Wed Nov 9 in Bozeman
* Tues Dec 6 location TBD
* Mon, Mar 6 in Belgrade
o BALOO Training (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) is required to take Cub Scouts camping but is important for any outdoor activities. It is an 8-hour course and only taught once a year.
